Hugo has been in the dental field for 20 years. He started his dental career as a dental assistant with the help of Dr. Heresi as his former mentor. Soon after, Hugo fell in love with healthcare and the dental profession. He realized that helping people was his calling. He pursue his studies in Dental Hygiene at Northern Virginia Community College and graduated with high honors in 2011. Hugo’s passion for dental hygiene took him to various opportunities, where he learned and implemented the best care for his patients. Hugo has a strong focus on building long lasting relationships with his patients, and guiding them to achieve their best oral health.

In 2022, Hugo got the opportunity to go back and work with one of his mentors, Dr. Heresi who was the one that introduced him into dentistry and who he had learned a lot from. Besides enjoying his time working and treating his patients at Heresi Dental Care, Hugo is actively involved in study clubs, continue education, and is even part of a hygiene mastermind group, where he collaborates with other bright hygienists. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and working out.
